Goresbridge has unveiled the catalogue for its Breeze-Up sale, one of Europe's fastest-growing sales, on May 24 and 25. The sale enjoyed record returns in 2016 and despite a smaller offering last year figures rose yet again, the aggregate topping out at €6,102,500, the average rising 19.3% to €34,477 and the median climbing 31.3% to €21,000. Last year's €210,000 top lot, Landshark (GB) (Bated Breath {GB}), won at first asking and was second to U S Navy Flag (War Front) in the G3 Round Tower S. This year's juveniles will breeze at Gowran Park on May 24, with selling set for May 25. Sires represented include Acclamation (GB) and his standout son Dark Angel (Ire), Frankel (GB), Invincible Spirit (Ire), Kitten's Joy, Medaglia d'Oro, Oasis Dream (GB), Sea The Stars (Ire), Scat Daddy, Siyouni (Fr) and Union Rags.
