Tracey Harding has been appointed to the role of Discover Newmarket Tourism Manager, Discover Newmarket announced on Wednesday. Previously, Harding, who has over 20 years' experience working in the tourism industry, held a similar position at Visit Ely.
“We are delighted to announce the appointment of Tracey and are looking forward to utilising her wealth of knowledge and experience,” said Jockey Club Racecourses Regional Director Amy Starkey. “We have ambitious plans for Discover Newmarket and with Tracey's expertise, we are looking forward to further developing the town's tourism offer.”
Jockey Club Racecourses is one of the stakeholders in the Palace House-based tourism focal point, which offers a range of unique, behind-the-scenes experiences.
Harding added, “Whilst I will be sad in many ways to leave my position at Ely, I am very excited about taking on my new role. I have worked alongside Newmarket for many years and am looking forward to the new challenge.”
