About 30 minutes after her dam was sold to Summer Wind Farm for $1.65 million, Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners parted way with their three-time Grade I winner Curalina (4, Curlin–Whatdreamsrmadeof, by Graeme Hall) for an even $3 million at Fasig-Tipton. Japan's Shadai Farm was the successful bidder. The chestnut, consigned by Meg Levy's Bluewater Sales LLC, agent, overcame a rough start to win the 2015 GI Acorn S., added the GI CCA Oaks and closed the season with a narrow third in the GI Breeders' Cup Distaff. She turned in one of the more impressive early-season efforts of 2016 with a barnstorming success in the GI La Troienne S. at Churchill Downs. Click for ThoroStride walking video.
