Los Alamitos Racecourse will hold its eight-day summer Thoroughbred Festival starting Thursday, July 6 and concluding Sunday, July 16.
A pair of graded stakes highlight the meet: the July 8 $200,000 GIII Los Alamitos Derby, which was contested last season in September; and the $150,000 GII Great Lady M. S., for female sprinters and won last year by eventual champion Finest City (City Zip), which will be held July 15.
