Tycoon Chosen As Helsinge Mate

Helsinge | Woodside Park Stud

Helsinge (Aus) (Desert Sun {GB}), the dam of unbeaten superstar Black Caviar (Aus) (Bel Esprit {Aus}) and MG1SW All Too Hard (Aus) (Casino Prince {Aus}) will be covered this year by Written Tycoon (Aus) (Iglesia {Aus}). The 15-year-old Gilgai Farm mare last produced a filly by Canford Cliffs (Ire) (Tagula {Ire}) in 2015. Written Tycoon who stands at Woodside Park has had a fee hike up to A$49,500 for this year from A$19,800 last year, mainly due to the exploits of 'TDN Rising Star' Capitalist (Aus) who won last year's G1 Golden Slipper. Group 1 victories for Luna Rossa (NZ) in New Zealand and Music Magnate (NZ) in the G1 Doomben 10,000 also helped to propel the stallion back into the limelight after a quiet spell following his instant impact when crowned leading first season sire in 2010/11.
