Unbridled's Song is having a simply amazing year at the racetrack and Tuesday continued to prove his prowess as a commercial stallion. Hip 75, the first foal out of four-time stakes winner Amazing Buy (High Yield), was the subject of spirited bidding, which concluded with John Ferguson outlasting representatives of Jess Jackson's Stonestreet Stables at $1.1 million. Hip 75, who worked an eighth of a mile in :10 2/5 at last week's under-tack show (video) was consigned by Mike and Britt Mulligan's Leprechaun Racing, who was underbidder on the colt when he sold to Jay Rogers for $275,000 at Keeneland September last fall.
