Uncle Mo Filly Sets the Bar at $1 million

A dark bay filly (hip 490) by Uncle Mo set a new high mark for the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Sale Tuesday, selling for $1 million to Linda Rice on behalf of Chester Broman. A half-sister to GSP Lassofthemohicans (Indian Charlie), the filly breezed a co-bullet quarter-mile in :21 2/5 at the under-tack show last week. Hip 490, who RNA'd for $80,000 as a Keeneland September offering, is out of an unraced dam who is herself a half-sister to MGISW and sire Housebuster (Mt. Livermore).
