Undefeated Three Rules (Gone Astray) breezed five furlongs in 1:00.10 (1/8) Friday morning at Gulfstream Park in preparation for a scheduled start in the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile at Santa Anita Nov. 5. Exercise rider Patrick Harris was aboard for the dark bay's first timed workout since pulling off a sweep of the 2016 Florida Sire S. at Gulfstream Oct. 1. “It was a perfect work,” trainer Jose Pinchin said. “He galloped out good. He did everything good. He just jogged around.” The Shade Tree Thoroughbred's homebred has won all five of his races by a combined total of 31 lengths, all at Gulfstream.
