Unlike the Djebel, Monday's G3 Prix Imprudence at Maisons-Laffitte lacks a star turn among last year's juveniles and the prestigious Classic trial is therefore open to one of the unexposed fillies in the line-up. Despite her debut win over a mile at Chantilly Mar. 2 being less than flashy, it could be that Via Ravenna (Ire) (Raven's Pass) has a lot more to give for Haras de Saint Pair and Andre Fabre, who also saddles Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani's G3 Oh So Sharp S. fifth Double Lady (Fr) (Stormy River {Fr}). Ecurie Jean-Louis Bouchard and Georges Sandor's Thais (Fr) (Rio de la Plata) was tried against the colts in the G1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere by Pascal Bary, but came up well short in sixth there before finishing third in the G3 Prix Miesque over this course and distance in November.
