Winchell Thoroughbreds' Untapable (Tapit) looks to return to winning ways against what on paper appears to be an overmatched field in Saturday's GII Fleur de Lis H. at Churchill Downs. Crowned champion 3-year-old filly after a 2014 season that included wins in the GI Kentucky Oaks and GI Breeders' Cup Distaff, as well as two other Grade Is, the homebred visited the winner's circle just once in 2015 when capturing Oaklawn's GI Apple Blossom H. Finishing in the money in each of her next four starts, including a neck second in Keeneland's GI Juddmonte Spinster S., the bay was forced to miss a title defense in the Distaff due to a fever and kicked off this term with another near miss when second in the GII Azeri S. Mar. 19. The Steve Asmussen pupil faded to fourth behind recent GI Ogden Phipps S. runner-up Forever Unbridled (Unbridled's Song) when attempting to win her second Apple Blossom Apr. 15.

The runner with the best chance to take down the Eclipse winner is Stoneway Farm's Ahh Chocolate (Candy Ride {Arg}). Winner of the GII Fall City H. here last November, the Neil Howard trainee finished third in both the Esplanada Overnight S. at the Fair Grounds Mar. 18 and the GIII Doubledogdare S. at Keeneland Apr. 22. She enters this test off a win in the GIII Allaire DuPont Distaff S. at Pimlico May 20.
