Last-out G1 Prix de Diane third Terrakova (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) will get a summer break before gearing up for an autumn campaign that will begin with the G1 Prix Vermeille at Chantilly on Sept. 10, said trainer Freddy Head. The 'TDN Rising Star' and daughter of multiple champion Goldikova (Ire) (Anabaa) had won her first two starts before going down by a length in the fillies' Classic.
“She's very well. I'm very happy with her and she looks great,” said Head of the Wertheimer homebred. “Now we will look to the autumn. She will have a break now and we're going to go for the Prix Vermeille. We'll give her an entry for that. I think she will stay the mile-and-a-half. The way she ran last time showed she could stay. Hopefully there is more improvement in her as well.”
