Vivid Seats, the largest independent online ticket marketplace, is for the third consecutive year the official ticket reseller of Saturday's GI Preakness S., the Maryland Jockey Club announced last week. The 2017 partnership with Chicago-based Vivid Seats allows the option to shop for tickets from a drop-down menu on the Preakness website homepage, as well as a message re-directing fans to Vivid Seats when the most popular sections are sold out on the race's primary ticketing engine. Additionally, customers' premium seat rights allow reselling on Vivid Seats without forgoing the right to purchase the same tickets in 2018.
