War Front has made a sensational start at stud, with winners on turf, dirt and synthetic, short and long, fillies and colts. The sire of such horses as GI Del Mar Oaks winner Summer Soiree and GII Fountain of Youth hero Soldat could have another star in the making in the form of hip 1019, a Hinkle Farms bred and consigned daughter of the Claiborne stallion. The dark bay, a half-sister to SW & GSP Putmeinyourwill (Old Trieste) was hammered down to Robert Lapenta's Whitehorse Stables for $625,000. Hinkle Farms acquired the filly's dam Miss Class Action (Alleged) for $75,000 at Keeneland November in 2007 carrying a foal by Royal Academy. The operation did well with that produce as well, selling it for $160,000 at FTKJUL in 2009.
