War Front Filly Out of Awesome Maria Sells for $2 Million to Horton

Willis Horton, who had just sold champion Take Charge Brandi (Giant's Causeway) for $6 million earlier at Keeneland, was back in action, extending to $2 million for a War Front-sired filly (hip 491) out of GISW Awesome Maria (Maria's Mon). The final hip of Book 1, the grey filly is from the extended family of GISWs Discreet Cat (Forestry) and Discreetly Mine (Mineshaft).
