An impeccably bred son of Tapit out of Serena's Cat (Storm Cat) was sold for $1.05 million to Chris Baccari, becoming the first foal to cross the seven-figure barrier at the Keeneland November Sale. A May 6 foal, hip 303 was bred by Dell Ridge Farm and Hill 'n' Dale Equine HoldingsĀ and boasted one of the bigger pedigrees in the entire catalogue, as he is a half-brother to champion and MGISW Honor Code (A.P. Indy), MGSW and sire Noble Tune (Unbridled's Song) and to SP Lady Serena (Bernardini). His multiple stakes-winning dam Serena's Tune (Mr. Prospector) is a daughter of the legendary champion Serena's Song (Rahy). A War Front half-brother was purchased by M V Magnier for $2.6 million last year, while his full-sister was the top-priced weanling at the 2014 November sale on a bid of $3 million from Bridlewood Farm.
