The following is part of a series in which we have posed the question above to a number of racing industry participants. The only rule is that you cannot choose your own boss.
CRAIG BERNICK, PRESIDENT & CEO, GLEN HILL FARM: Jack Wolf
I look up to Jack both from an ownership perspective and as an industry participant. He is a fantastically successful horse owner that has enjoyed success with the likes of Harlan's Holiday, Ashado, Shanghai Bobby and countless others, and his syndicate is one where the partners seem to re-up every year and enjoy each other's company. In our business, too often problems are discussed ad nauseam without any meaningful action. Jack is always one to push for change and move things along. He doesn't care where good ideas come from and puts his time and money into issues where he can make a difference. He's probably too blunt and impatient for some, but to me, we need more doers like him in the business.
