Jockey Douglas Whyte has been banned for one month by Perth stewards for failing to ride his mount, Scales Of Justice (Aus) (Not A Single Doubt {Aus}), to the line in the Dec. 3 G1 Kingston Town Classic, according to Racing.com. Scales Of Justice was caught on the wire that day by the fast-finishing Stratum Star (Aus) (Stratum {Aus}), and Whyte was suspended despite support from trainer Lindsey Smith and owner Chris Wells for his claim that Scales Of Justice was beaten when he stopped riding.
