Wickedly Perfect (Congrats), winner of Friday's
GI Darley Alcibiades S. at Keeneland, was diagnosed with a chip in her left knee and will undergo a Monday procedure to remove it, Daily Racing Form reports. Dr. Larry Bramlage will perform the surgery. “She had a little heat in a left knee. We did X-rays and she has a chip,” he told the trade daily. “It's a bummer, because we'll miss the Breeders' Cup, but the prognosis is 100 percent.” O'Neill told the Form that vets have said the filly could return to training within a couple of months. Owned by STD Racing Stable, Peter Moehrke & Rafter JR Ranch, Wickedly Perfect won the GIII Sorrento S. and was runner-up in the GI Darley Debutante S. before taking her two-turn bow in the Alcibiades. She has a record of 4-3-1-0 and earnings to date of $404,600.
