Wickedly Perfect Out of Breeders' Cup

Daily Racing Form has reported that Wickedly Perfect (Congrats), winner of Friday's GI Darley Alcibiades S. at Keeneland, will miss the Nov. 5 GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies due to a bone chip. “She had a little heat in her left knee [Saturday morning],” said conditioner Doug O'Neill. “We did X-rays and she has a chip.” The grey juvenile, who has won three of her four starts for $404,600, is scheduled to undergo surgery in Kentucky Monday. Dr. Larry Bramlage will perform the procedure. If successful, O'Neill said that Wickedly Perfect could resume training in a few months. “It's a bummer because we'll miss the Breeders' Cup, but the prognosis is 100 percent.”
