Michael Tabor's Ballydoyle (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) has not enjoyed the best of luck so far in 2016 and received another slice of ill-fortune on Friday when being drawn 15 of 16 in the G1 Prix de Diane at Chantilly on Sunday. Second to stablemate Minding (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) in the G1 1000 Guineas at Newmarket May 1, last year's G1 Prix Marcel Boussac heroine had been lined up for a tilt at the Irish equivalent before being forced to sidestep that encounter and now has to defy a traditionally unfavourable post position in the 10 1/2-furlong Classic. Also due to exit from a high stall is Ecurie Salabi's Volta (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr}), who was so impressive when extending her winning sequence in the G2 Prix de Sandringham over a mile here June 5 and will need to be every bit as effective over this longer trip to win from stall 12. She was supplemented this week alongside the G3 Prix Cleopatre scorer Highlands Queen (Fr) (Mount Nelson {GB}), who has fared better with a draw in six.
