Zayat Stable's Z Fortune (Siphon {Brz}), a New York-bred making his first start in open company, was given a quiet ride by Shaun Bridgmohan and finished with good energy to land Saturday's GIII Lecomte S. on “Road to the Derby Kickoff” Day at the Fair Grounds. Blackberry Road (Gone West) was switched wide for the drive and ran on nicely to grab second.
