Ruler of the World may have been an appropriate name for this year’s G1 Investec Derby winner, but it would have been even more appropriate for the colt’s sire, Galileo. There can be no doubt that Coolmore’s four-time champion sire is the world’s most fashionable stallion and his status can only have been enhanced by Europe’s recent Classics.
