Tapit Colt Makes Waves at KEESEP

Hip 402 made some noise late during Thursday's session when John Moynihan wound up making the winning $700,000 bid. The light grey colt is the fourth foal from multiple stakes placed Tempting Note (Editor's Note) and third straight produce by Gainesway stallion Tapit. The first, Tempted to Tapit, hit the board in both the GII Risen Star S. and GIII Sunland Derby in 2010, and the second is Dance Card, a $750,000 purchase at FTFFEB in 2011 who has paired up wins at Belmont and Saratoga this season. The yearling was bred in Kentucky by Bruce McMillin & Tapit Syndicate.
