Just hours after his victory in the G2 Prix Chaudenay at Longchamp, 3-year-old colt Auvray (Fr) (Le Havre {Ire}) appeared in the ring for the Arqana Arc Sale at Saint-Cloud and was scooped up by agent Michael Wallace for the China Horse Club for ﾀ800,000. From the family of G1 Deutsches Derby winner and young sire Adlerflug (Ger) and the extended family of blue hen mare Urban Sea, Auvray was recording his third stakes win of the year and second at the group level in the Chaudenay.
