Amanpour Added to National Sale

Amanpour (Aus) (Northern Meteor {Aus}), winner of the G1 Queen of the Turf S. in April, is one of eight in a last-minute supplementary draft to the Magic Millions National Sale by Gooree Park as agent. The 4-year-old, trained by Gai Waterhouse, will be offered at the end of the day Friday. Also set to be offered are Amanpour’s dam, Newscaster (Aus) (Marscay {Aus}), in foal to Smart Missile (Aus); Amanpour’s unraced half-sister Swing Dance (Aus) (Danehill Dancer {Ire}), in foal to Congrats; Swing Dance’s daughter Swing Vote (Aus) (Northern Meteor {Aus}), in foal to Smart Missile; Swing Dance’s winning 3-year-old daughter Swing Sensation (Aus) (Northern Meteor {Aus}); and Group 2 winner Gold Water (Aus) (Choisir {Aus}), in foal to Congrats. Two weanlings will be offered; a colt by Smart Missile and a filly by Your Song (Aus).
