Randy Moss

Randy Moss is an analyst for ESPN/ABC's horse racing coverage, and during the football season is a studio host for NFL Network. From Hot Springs, Arkansas, Moss attended the races at Oaklawn Park Race at a young age. During high school and college, he assisted DRF columnist Don Grisham in the Arkansas Gazette. In 1984, Moss left the Gazette for the Arkansas Democrat and from 1989-1995 he worked for The Dallas Morning News. Moss left journalism in 1995 to work as the director of operations for Oaklawn Park. He was a sportswriter for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram until 1999, when he became an ESPN analyst in 1999. For 30 years, Moss has been part of Andrew Beyer's team that calculates for Daily Racing Form the iconic Beyer Speed Figures. He also created the "Moss Pace Figures" published online by Daily Racing Form.
