+MISS BIG STUFF (f, 2, Big Drama–Red Hot Star, by Tabasco Cat) led wire-to-wire to graduate at first asking Sunday afternoon at Del Mar to become the seventh winner for her freshman sire (by Montbrook). Bet down to even-money favoritism, the $45,000 OBSAPR buy and lone filly in the field, went straight to the front and showed the way through fractions of :22.27 and :45.50 with Good For It (Neko Bay) closely in tow. The pair easily drew clear from the others and Good For It remained persistent for the length of the stretch, but Miss Big Stuff found more and prevailed by a half-length in the end. The winner’s dam Red Hot Star was bred back to Big Drama this spring. Sales history: $25,000 Ylg ’14 OBSAUG. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $42,000.
