Cassatt to Undergo Knee Chip Surgery

Fox Hill Farm’s ‘TDN Rising Star’ Cassatt (Tapit) will undergo surgery after a displaced chip was found in one knee and a non-displaced chip was found in the other, Fox Hill Farm announced on Facebook Thursday.

The Fox Hill Farm Facebook stated, “Cassatt had a thorough exam by Dr. [Larry] Bramlage over the past two days, including a bone scan. She has a displaced chip in one knee and a non-displaced chip in the other. She also has strained her hind suspensories. She will be fine after chip removal surgery and 60 days of recuperation.”
