Cross Gate Online Charity Auction Draws over 100K

Peter Howell's 'Headed Home, Newmarket'

Cross Gate Gallery Charity Challenge online auction which concluded May 9 raised over $100,00 to benefit a charity of the buyer's choice. Although the majority serve the Central Kentucky region, donations were made to charities throughout the country. The sale was topped by Larry Wheeler's 'Kentucky River Palisades' and Peter Howell's 'Headed Home, Newmarket'. The artwork realized a combined total of $10,500, therefore contributing $5,250 to each buyer's charity.

“In these challenging times, many charities have lost the opportunity to have their spring fundraisers and are facing uncertain futures,” said Cross Gate owner Greg Ladd. “We are pleased to help support our community that has supported us for the last 46 years.”
