Having sidestepped Sunday's G1 1000 Guineas, 'TDN Rising Star' Found (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) takes a more sedate route to the remaining fillies' Classics as she is unveiled in The Curragh's G3 Canford Cliffs EBF Athasi S. The form of her last-out success in Longchamp's G1 Prix Marcel Boussac has already received a boost as the runner-up, Ervedya (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr}), registered an easy win in the G3 Prix Imprudence, and while she is clear-best on ratings here, she is unlikely to be asked a demanding question. “She had a little setback and we were afraid to force her too much, so it definitely wasn't the wrong thing not to run her in the Guineas,” Aidan O'Brien explained. “We took the easier option to start her at the Curragh, but the only thing is they had a lot of rain and the ground is heavy. Hopefully she'll be able to go on it–if the ground is not too bad, hopefully it will be a nice introduction for her.”
Highly regarded by Jim Bolger although still a maiden after three starts, Patricia Burns' Stellar Glow (Ire) (Sea the Stars {Ire}) holds strong claims on the basis of the second of her trio of performances when third in the G3 C L & M F Weld Park S. over this course and distance in September. Another 3-year-old who is one to watch is His Highness The Aga Khan's Apr. 4 Cork maiden scorer Shahzeena (Ire) (Rock of Gibraltar {Ire}) in a potentially significant pointer to the Irish 1000 Guineas.
