Fox Named Sales Manager at Darley America

Darren Fox, a 2009 graduate of the Darley Flying Start program, has been appointed to the position of sales manager of the Darley stallion division in America. A native of County Roscommon, Ireland, Fox was employed by the farm for four years before moving on to become the Stallion Seasons Director at WinStar Farm. 

Dan Pride, COO of Darley in America, said, “We are very excited that Darren decided to rejoin us at Darley. He brings with him a great deal of experience given his four years on our nominations team in Kentucky and his tenure at WinStar. With Darren’s background and his relationships, he is certain to make a significant contribution to our management team and we look forward to welcoming him back to Darley at the beginning of July.” 

Added Fox, “I am leaving a great organization, and I’m very thankful for the opportunity afforded me by Kenny Troutt and Elliott Walden at WinStar. However, Darley is where I first became immersed in the Thoroughbred business, both as a participant in the Darley Flying Start program, and then the time I spent in the nominations department at Jonabell. I’m very excited about returning to the team there and can’t wait to get started.”
