Galileo Stars Again on Day 2 at TATOCT

A Galileo filly from the family of G1 Epsom Derby hero Lammtarra and the top turf mare Bosra Sham took center stage during the early part of day two of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale in Newmarket, selling for 900,000gns to John Magnier. The Irish-bred bay is a daughter of Gwynn (Ire) (Darshaan {GB}) and is a 3/4-sister to Gagnoa (Ire) (Sadler's Wells), a dual Group 3 winner in France and Classic-placed in that country's Oaks as well as the G1 Irish Oaks in 2008. Bred by Lynch Bages Ltd, hip 287 was consigned by Camas Park Stud.
