BEAUTIFUL MORNING (GB) (f, 2, Galileo {Ire}–Date With Destiny {Ire} {SP-Eng}, by George Washington {Ire}), a promising fourth at Newmarket on debut July 17, was smartly into stride and raced in a close-up sixth through the early fractions of this renowned “Convivial Maiden”. Inching closer on the bridle in the long straight, the 12-1 chance launched her bid passing the two pole and came under late urging to prevail by a length from Very Talented (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}). “That was smart, it looked a good maiden and rode like a good race,” commented winning rider William Buick. “She over-raced a little in stages, but did well and you’d be fairly pleased with her. [Trainer] Luca [Cumani] suggested the [G1] Fillies’ Mile [at Newmarket Oct. 9], but he also said she might just have one more run before being put away for next year. She’s got a lot of pace and a mile later in the season will be as far as she wants.” Sales history: 650,000gns Ylg ‘14 TATOCT. Lifetime Record: 2-1-0-0, $49,286. Video, sponsored by Fasig-Tipton.
