Gutaifan To Yeomanstown
This year’s dual Group 2-winning juvenile Gutaifan (Ire) (Dark Angel {Ire}) will stand alongside his sire at Yeomanstown Stud next year. Gutaifan won four of seven starts for Al Shaqab Racing and trainer Richard Hannon, including the G2 Prix Robert Papin and G2 Flying Childers S., which bookended a second to Shalaa (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) in the G1 Prix Morny. Gutaifan was last seen beating one home when taking on elders in the G1 Qatar Prix de l’Abbaye Oct. 4.
Yeomanstown’s Gay O’Callaghan said, “we are excited to have acquired Gutaifan. He’s a great looking horse with tremendous action and a high-class 2-year-old. Precocious, tough and sound, he reminds me a lot of his father.”
A stud fee will be announced at a later date.
