Hartford Debuts a Winner in Florida

However, pilot Javier Castellano was able to hustle him up to press the leader through splits of :23.76 and :47.54. The big gray gained a narrow advantage on the bend and, when urged in the stretch, pulled away to finish 5 3/4 lengths ahead of second choice H Town Brown (Big Brown).
