This gray colt is a son of SW & GSP Wild Hoots, a full-sister to the GI Wood Memorial S. winner Buddha and from the family of SW Road Ready (More Than Ready) and GISP Be Smart (Smarty Jones). This colt himself is a half to GSP Savings Account (Medaglia d’Oro), who placed in last year’s GIII Miesque S. as a juvenile.

This colt is a three-quarter to Grade I winner Stormello (Stormy Atlantic) and graded stakes winner My Best Brother (Stormy Atlantic) and is a half to graded stakes placed Gala Award (Bernardini), who cost $1.55 million at this event in 2012. “He is a very muscular and very strong boned,” said Valkyre’s Cathy Parke. “He’s correct. He’s very high energy.”

This colt, a $225,000 Keeneland November weanling, is out of multiple stakes placed A Bit of Pressure. “A balanced son of top turf stallion Kitten’s Joy, this colt strikes a strong resemblance to his champion sire, offered Gainesway’s Michael Hernon.”

This colt is a half-brother to Grade I winner Justin Phillip (First Samurai) and to graded stakes winners Keyed Entry (Honour and Glory) and Successful Mission (Successful Appeal). He is also a full to undefeated graded stakes winner Algorithms. “This is probably the prettiest foal the mare has had for me,” said Cathy Parke of Valkyre Stud. “He’s a May foal and he looks like he is a March foal. He is just a gorgeous animal.”

Candy Ride over Storm Cat has been a terrific cross, throwing Grade I winners like the champion Shared Belief and Sidney’s Candy. Dam Cat Charmer was a SW & GSP performer, and is the dam of this colt’s full-sister Sweet Dreams, a smart juvenile at Woodbine this year who has hit the board in the My Dear S. and Ontario Debutante S.
