Hong Kong Date For G Force

HONG KONG DATE FOR G FORCE
Saturday’s G1 Betfred Sprint Cup winner G Force (Ire) (Tamayuz {GB}) could make his first voyage overseas at the end of the year for the G1 Hong Kong Sprint Dec. 14. The Middleham Park Racing-owned 3-year-old, who denied the likes of Gordon Lord Byron (Ire) (Byron {GB}) and Sole Power (GB) (Kyllachy {GB}) to earn his first Group 1 in the Sprint Cup, is likely to take in the G2 Qipco British Champions Sprint S. at Ascot Oct. 18.
“I think we’ll miss the [G1 Prix de l’Abbaye Oct. 5] and stick to six [furlongs] for now,” Middleham’s Nick Bradley told At the Races. “There is a race at Ascot coming up [the Sprint S.] It’s a Group 2, but I’ve been told we don’t get any penalties for that race. Then there is a race at Sha Tin on Dec. 14. Adrian Beaumont [of the International Racing Bureau] was on the phone last night and thinks we’ll get an invite for that race, so it would be nice to go over there, and if Sole Power goes they can have the rematch.”
