INCREASED TV COVERAGE FOR INGLIS
Inglis will offer increased television coverage for its Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale and Easter Yearling Sale after partnering with the television channel Seven Network. Inglis’s partnership with Seven Network began with on Feb. 8 G1 CF Orr S. day and will continue throughout the Australian autumn carnivals, culiminating on the second day of The Championships Apr. 19. As part of the deal, Melbourne Premier will move to the highlights and news package on TVN, Australia’s specialized horse racing channel. The first two days of Easter, Apr. 8 & 9, will be broadcast live on Seven Network’s 7Two channel in addition to TVN’s coverage, which will include interviews with buyers, vendors and other key personnel.
“This is a very exciting initiative for Inglis, which provides us the opportunity to promote our sales to a new audience in the lead up to our two main yearling sales on feature racedays,” said Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster. “In partnering with Seven, we hope to engage with a new audience and promote the benefits of this great industry.”
