Inglis To Disperse Ruane Stock

Australian nursery Ruane will sell its stock in an unreserved dispersal during the Inglis Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale May 3-6.

“There is no greater thrill than the success of breeding and racing Thoroughbreds and I am sure these horses will give their new owners great rewards,” said Ruane’s John Baxter. “I’ve had a lot of fun being involved in this incredible industry for many years, but I’m looking forward to handing over the baton and watching others enjoy similar successes.”

Ruane has bred the G1 Oakleigh Plate winner With Me (Aus) (Covetous {Aus}) as well as her Group 1-winning son Accomplice (Aus) (Canny Lad {Aus}), and among the offerings in the dispersal will be Tasmanian Oaks winner Marchelle Belle (Aus) (Anabaa) as well her yearling filly by So You Think (NZ) and weanling filly by Sebring (Aus); the stakes-placed mare Breakcard (Aus) (Danzero {Aus}) and her Sebring weanling filly; and the Group 3-placed Maybe I (Aus)(Red Ransom) and her All Too Hard (Aus) weanling filly. The offering comprises 19 broodmares, six 2-year-old and 3-year-old race fillies and 16 weanlings.
