A daughter of Invincible Spirit (Ire) (lot 44) established a sale-leading price of €610,000 midway through the opening session of the Arqana August Yearling Sale when hammered down to agent Hubie de Burgh on behalf of an undisclosed client. She is the first foal from the stakes-winning Demurely (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), a half-sister to G1 Prix Saint-Alary winner Cerculean Sky (Ire) (Darshaan {GB}) and G1 Irish Oaks victress Moonstone (Ire) (Dalakhani {Ire}).
Progeny of Invincible Spirit proved popular throughout the opening session of the Arqana August yearling sale, with South Africa’s Markus Jooste and Coolmore partnering to purchase lot 50 for €550,000 through Mayfair Speculators/Peter Doyle. The daughter of the stakes-winning Dubai Rose (GB) (Dubai Destination) was consigned by Haras des Monceaux.
