+LUNA DE LOCO (c, 2, Malibu Moon–Fancy Prancer {MSW, $105,010}, by Bertrando) boasted a strong worktab at Belmont, but was let go at 10-1 while facing the likes of bet-off-the-board Todd Pletcher firster Rally Cry (Uncle Mo) and Morse Code (Tapit), a half-brother to MGISW Honor Code (A.P. Indy). Away alertly, the chestnut pressed the pace from the rail through splits of :22.80 and :46.78. Rally Cry joined three deep at the head of the lane, but Luna de Loco shut the door on that rival and kicked away to score by a length from Morse Code, who closed with a rush like his big brother to nip Rally Cry for place honors. The winner is a half to Littlemissallison (Jump Start), MSW, $277,433; and Robo Willie (Jump Start), MSW, $246,259. Fancy Prancer, who captured three stakes events during her time at the track, was acquired by Brad Kelley's operation for $200,000 as a Fasig-Tipton February offering in 2012. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $36,000. Click for the Equibase.com chart or VIDEO, sponsored by Fasig-Tipton.
