Meade Buys Pastoral Pursuits

Martyn Meade, owner of Ladyswood Stud, has purchased the stallion Pastoral Pursuits (GB) (Bahamian Bounty {GB}–Star {GB}, by Most Welcome {GB}) and will continue to stand him at the National Stud in Newmarket, where he stood this year for £4,000. The 14-year-old Pastoral Pursuits, himself the winner of the G1 July Cup, has sired Group 3 winners Pastoral Player (GB) and Rose Blossom (GB).

Meade said, “Pastoral Pursuits has already proven himself as a stallion that is really going places and represents great value for the owner and breeder. I believe with the right book of mares his quality of stock can continue to improve and there will no doubt be more stakes winners. There will be a very generous breeders incentive available for approved mares.”
