More Caviar?

The aptly-named Sistonic (Aus) (Bel Esprit {Aus}), a three-parts sister to 15-time G1 winner Black Caviar (Aus) (Bel Esprit {Aus}), brought back fond memories of her illustrious relative when winning in good style on her racecourse debut, in a 1100 meters maiden event at Sale, Victoria.

The David Hayes and Tom Dabernig trainee made virtually all to score by 4 1/2 lengths.

Stable foreman Bruno Rouge-Serrett told Racing.com, “Dave thinks that she’ll get through to city races and, with the pedigree, she should hopefully get through to black type.”

Bred and owned by Robert Crabtree’s Dorrington Farm of Magnus (Aus) (Flying Spur {Aus}) fame, Sistonic is out of Danavia (Aus) (Danehill), a half-sister to the unraced Helsinge (Aus), dam of Black Caviar and four-time Group 1 scorer All Too Hard (Aus) (Casino Prince {Aus}).
