No Nay Never To Coolmore After Turf Sprint
NO NAY NEVER TO COOLMORE AFTER TURF SPRINT
No Nay Never (Scat Daddy) will be retired after today’s GI Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint and will stand at Coolmore’s headquarters in Ireland in 2015.
A debut winner at Keeneland last year for Susan Magnier and Ice Wine Stable, No Nay Never added Royal Ascot’s G2 Norfolk S. and remained undefeated when returning to Europe to add the G1 Prix Morny last August. Second on his seasonal debut in the GII Swale S. Mar. 1, the Wesley Ward charge made it four-for-five when last seen in the G3 Woodford S. at Keeneland Oct. 4.
“Wesley Ward has trained some very fast horses over the years, but he is in no doubt that No Nay Never is the most talented,” said Coolmore’s Director of Sales David O’Loughlin. “He’s a very strongly made individual who dwarfed his rivals in the parade ring at Royal Ascot. We can see him proving very popular with breeders here.”
