Noseda Apologizes

Conditioner Jeremy Noseda apologized for comments he made after trainee Sloan Avenue (Candy Ride {Arg}) was narrowly defeated in Saturday’s G2 Goldophin Mile. After the race, Noseda aired his frustration, believing that the 15 post position cost his charge the race.

“I knew my horse was ready to run the race of his life, but after the draw I realized the odds were heavily stacked against us,” he wrote on www.jeremynoseda.com.

“My passion, competitive desire to win the race and the frustration of going so close just came to the surface when I was interviewed moments afterwards,” he said. “I apologise to the owner and connections of a very brave winner, if I upset them. Likewise, I want to apologise to the Dubai Racing Club. My comments were made in the heat of the moment.”
