AUSTRALIAN QUEEN (GB) (Fastnet Rock) is a half-sister to this year's shock G1 Juddmonte International heroine Arabian Queen (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}) who debuts for her owner-breeder Jeff Smith and the David Elsworth stable. Her one-eyed dam Barshiba (Ire) (Barathea {Ire}) was high-class in her own right, winning the G2 Lancashire Oaks twice after breaking her maiden on the all-weather eight years ago. Among her opponents is Al Shaqab Racing's 300,000 Tattersalls graduate Shaan (Ire) (Iffraaj {GB}), a Richard Hannon trainee whose dam was a smart performer in black-type company in Ireland.

UP TO YOU (Giant's Causeway) bids to build on a promising debut third to Lillie Langtry's half-sister Danilovna (Ire) (Dansili {GB}) on debut at Lingfield 11 days ago for the George Strawbridge-John Gosden partnership. She is bred to improve with time, being a half-sister to Lucarno (Dynaformer) and that 2007 G1 St Leger hero's full-brothers Flying Officer, winner of last month's G2 British Champions Long Distance Cup, and the 2012 Great Voltigeur S. scorer Thought Worthy.
