OROMO (IRE) (High Chaparral {Ire}), who increased in value from a €90,000 Goffs November foal to a €140,000 Goffs Orby yearling, is out of the 2006 G1 Moyglare Stud S. victress Miss Beatrix (Ire) (Danehill Dancer {Ire}), and is thus a half-brother to the 2013 G3 Prix de Cabourg third Jally (Ire) (Tamayuz {GB}). Opposition to the Tommy Stack trainee in this 23-runner affair includes Jim Bolger’s experienced Brontide (Ire) (Vocalised), who is a gelded half-brother to this year’s G1 Irish 1000 Guineas and G1 Yorkshire Oaks heroine Pleascach (Ire) (Teofilo {Ire}); and Derrick Smith newcomer Cook Islands (Ire) (Fastnet Rock {Aus}), who is out of a winning half-sister to the 2003 G1 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe runner-up and MGSW Mubtaker (Silver Hawk).
