Bidding on behalf of Anthony Oppenheimer, whose Golden Horn (GB) (Cape Cross {Ire}) made headlines across Europe in 2015, agent Hugo Lascelles went to 700,000gns to acquire the services of hip 1898, the 4-year-old filly Sinnamary (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) during day two of the Tattersalls December Mares sale Tuesday afternoon. Consigned by David Redvers’s Tweenhills Farm and Stud, the bay, herself a €1.1 million purchase out of the 2012 Arqana Deauville August sale in 2012, is a daughter of Prudenzia (Ire) (Dansili {GB}), making her a half-sister to Chiquita (Ire) (Montjeu {Ire}), the 2013 highweighted 3-year-old filly in Ireland off her victories in the G1 Darley Irish Oaks. Chiquita, of course, made €6 million when topping the 2013 Goffs November sale. Sinnamary will be one of the first mares to visit Golden Horn when he enters stud in 2016.
