Redoute’s Choice to Cover NH Time

Three-time champion Australian sire Redoute’s Choice (Aus) (Danehill–Shantha’s Choice {Aus}, by Canny Lad {Aus}) will be available to cover a limited number of mares on northern hemisphere time at John Messara’s Arrowfield Stud reported Racing Post. The 18-year-old previously stood at the Aga Khan’s Haras de Bonneval in France for the 2013 and 2014 northern hemisphere seasons and had covered mares to northern hemisphere time in Australia in the past. 

“We have already accepted a small number of northern time bookings to Redoute’s Choice from existing clients, so we’re pleased to extend that to other breeders interested in using him,” said Arrowfield Stud chairman John Messara. “The support of the Aga Khan, among other powerful European and US owners and breeders–and the outstanding quality of his two French books–give Redoute’s Choice a solid platform for enduring global recognition.” 

The bay has sired 27 Group 1 winners among 122 stakes winners. He stood last season for A$110,000 (US$85,532).
