Delightful Mary, a sales-topping $500,000 OBSAPR juvenile, looked well worth the asking price with a 3 3/4-length debut score going six furlongs at Woodbine Aug. 8. She was 2-5 to repeat. Sent right to the front, the chestnut was three deep as she vied for the lead early, but jetted to the front midway on the first turn. The filly was in hand as she galloped through an opening half in :49.65 and six furlongs in 1:14.74, and needed minimal encouragement as she drew off down the lane, winning by eight easy lengths over Shadowsinthenight (Old Forester). The winner is a 1/2 to Delightful Kiss (Kissin Kris), MGSW & GISP, $1,093,592. Lifetime Record: 2-2-0-0, $67,876.
